It is Lazylonghorn.co.uk's sole intention to deliver the finest quality grass fed Longhorn beef available anywhere to your door throughout Staffordshire. Your taste experience is paramount to us but we also aim to deliver the finest customer service and experience. At present, until we increase the size of our herd, we only butcher one Longhorn steer a month on the farm with state of the art controlled refrigeration for hanging and maturing and a purpose built butchery room. We meet all current and proposed legislation and trade body guidelines.

None of the conditions below affect your statutory rights.

Delivery

We deliver by the Friday of the week we butcher, Staffordshire only [Our policy on minimal food miles allowed]. Our Longhorn meat will arrive chilled, vacuum packed and within woolcool® [insulated bio-degradable packaging made from British sheeps wool] to ensure your meat is as fresh as when the butcher professionally prepared it for youand with a minimum use by date of 7 days until you need to use it or freeze it. Deliveries will be made personally at your address known to us or in the case of a gift, to an address supplied on your order. We will notify you by telephone the likely time that the delivery will be, and arrange a more convenient time if necessary, we will not leave meat unattended as we want our meat to reach your table, fridge or freezer in perfect condition [Dog's also love our beef]. After all the love and care we take in rearing our cattle, hanging it for three weeks in controlled temperature, professionally butchering it, vacuum packing and environmentally friendly packaging it, we regret that cannot be held responsible for damage to fresh goods, which are not refrigerated and frozen if not eaten before the use by date.

Product Availability

As stated, we currently only butcher one steer a month until demand and supply grow organically within economic grounds. At Lazylonghorn.co.uk our only intention is to provide the best taste experience per acre, we only have 97 acres of grassland. We won't intensively rear our cattle, corn feeding shortens their life and reduces their flavour and your taste experience.  All Lazylonghorn meat boxes are subject to availability and because we are a small producer business we will have periods where some stock is unavailable and we have no choice but to apologise for this but we sincerely hope they are worth the wait. In all cases we will contact you by e-mail or telephone to confirm receipt of your order and advise you on the anticipated day/date of dispatch.

Product Sizes, Substitution and Prices

The box lists are our guideline. It is our intention to include portions of as many different cuts as possible in our beef box and to utilise the whole animal. Box contents and weight may vary slightly; it may also be necessary to substitute similar products with those of equal or greater value. Each "cut" of meat within the box is individually vacuum packed, chilled and labelled with date butchered, the cut, weight, price and use by date for your convenience and also for controlled freezing.

Acceptance of order

It is your responsibility to check the product upon arrival; claims for damaged goods must be made within 24 hours of their receipt. Where a valid claim is determined we will replace the goods free of charge, subject to the following conditions-

• The unused goods remain in their original condition, are undamaged and not been tampered with in any way.

• The unused goods must be securely wrapped and with the original packaging.

• You must notify us in writing of the reason for cancellation or return to us.

Cancellation and Return

We do not collect payment until we deliver the products to your door. If you are not entirely satisfied with your product, we personally guarantee to collect it and fully reimburse you for any unused or unsatisfactory products.
